A Preliminary to Miss Pennsylvania and Miss America

Miss Richland Area and Miss Northwest

The 2009 Miss Richland Area Scholarship Pageant was held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Johnstown, PA.

 The pageant was open to unmarried 17 to 24 year old women residing, attending school or working in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The competition consisted of Private Interview, Swimsuit, Talent, Evening Wear and On-Stage Question.

Two titles, Miss Richland Area Calsie Boyd and Miss Northwest Brina Williams were awarded. Both winners will advance to the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant which will be held in Pittsburgh in June of 2009. The winner of the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant will advance to compete at Miss America.

Information on the 2010 Pageant will be available in late 2009 or early 2010.
